Prophet chains 28 ‘sick’ persons in Lagos apartment

                   

A self-broadcasted prophet, Emmanuel Adeyemi, has been captured by the police in Lagos State after 28 people were supposedly discovered fastened in his loft in the Oke-Ira, Ogba zone of the state.

PUNCH Metro accumulated that the casualties, who contained 15 grown-ups and 13 youngsters, were found after a neighbor gave the police a tip-off that a 17-year-old kid, Toba Adeyemi, who happened to be the suspect's child, was anchored in a room.

It was learnt that the police raged the house at around 12pm and discovered Toba, they additionally found 27 others in a comparable condition.

A police source in Area G, Ogba, told PUNCH Metro that the suspect guaranteed that his child, Toba, and the 27 others were disturbed and he fastened them to cure their sickness.

The police additionally on Friday captured a 27-year-old suspected burglar, Sunday Onjefu, amid an operation at Itedo transport stop, Lekki Phase 1 region.

The police representative, Badmos, said the suspect had been exchanged to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja, for further examination.
