Police arrest teacher for raping nine-year-old pupil

 

The Katsina State Police Command has captured a 33-year-old educator at Nasarawa Annex Primary School in the Faskari Local Government Area of the state for professedly assaulting a nine-year-old understudy, Simbiat (nom de plume).

The educator, Hamisu Galadima, said to be a serial attacker, had allegedly tricked the student into the staff room at some point in July and assaulted her.

He was said to have debilitated to pound her on the off chance that she educated her folks or anyone in the school about the demonstration.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Simbiat later trusted in her dad, Hashimu Mohammed, who reported the episode at the Faskari Police Division, prompting Galadima's capture.

He was along these lines charged under the steady gaze of a Katsina Magistrate's Court and was remanded in jail guardianship while the case was suspended till September 26, 2016.

A police source told our reporter that the suspect was being explored on five other assault cases.

The source said, "Right away, we are having five diverse First Information Report on Galadima on instances of assault separated from the one he showed up for at the judge's court. He has as of now been charged before three different justices regarding assault cases.''

In the mean time, the officer court will keep hearing in an assault argument against a 50-year-old security monitor, Inusa Barau, otherwise known as Dan Olo, on September 28, 2016.

Barau was blamed for assaulting a 12-year-old understudy of Sheik Gumi Primary School, Kankara.

The school's superintendent, Salihu Aliyu, had reported the occurrence at the Kankara Police Station, charging that Barau conferred the offense at the Kankara LGA guesthouse where he (Barau) worked.

As indicated by the Police First Information Report, Barau had given the casualty N400 in the wake of conferring the offense.

The FIR read, "The casualty supported wounds in her genitals and was taken to the General Hospital, Kankara, where she was analyzed by a specialist, treated and released."

The police said Barau admitted to have engaged in sexual relations with the casualty twice.
