The vise President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo SAN. has said that having sources of revenue denied Nigerians opportunities to engage in most critical reasoning and prioritization that usually drive development..The Vise President will at a lunching of the standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Port service Support Portal (PSSP) for Nigerian Port Hosted today by the Ministry of Transportation hosted by the Ministry of Transportation hosted by the Ministry of Transportation Minister Rotimi Amechi in Attendance.
Prof said that Nigerians must reduce the way of dependance of the Federal and State Governments on the way of sharing income realized(revenue) from oil.
According to him, Nigeria should also look in diverse economy take advantage of it structured in terms of the driving the economic activities and its source of foreign exchange, while hailing the Minister of Transportation for initiating the SOPs ans PSSPs which are electronic based monitoring which would now govern the entire port operations in the country.
