"I think if just the American gathering had regarded the working game plans first made with China then this wouldn't have happened," China's outside service representative Hua Chunying apparently said in Beijing on Monday.
"You saw that the various nation pioneers all utilized the stairs that China gave. So why was it just the United States that didn't? These were the stairs the United States asked."
Theory has been that Chinese authorities deliberately humiliated Obama at the Hangzhou air terminal on Saturday by neglecting to give him an appropriate staircase to land his air ship.
Strains were exacerbated on the landing area when a Chinese authority was supposedly opposing toward National Security Adviser Susan Rice and U.S. authorities were chided for attempting to help American columnists show signs of improvement access to Obama.
At that point the Twitter record of the Defense Intelligence Agency brought on more grating with a tweet.
"Tasteful as dependably China," the tweet read, connecting to a New York Times article about the encounter on the landing area.
The DIA, a spy office inside the Pentagon, erased the tweet rapidly, issuing a statement of regret.
