Drama as Police Arraign Audu’s Son for Robbery

 

The principal child of the late previous Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Mohammed Audu, was yesterday summoned under the steady gaze of the Magistrate Court 11 in Lokoja for affirmed equipped theft.

Mohammed was captured on Wednesday night when he regarded the welcome of the men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad at the "A" Division office in Lokoja where he was hence kept and charged to court yesterday.

Otuwo said the late Audu's sibling griped to the police that preceding his assault, Audu's child, Mohammed, guaranteed to manage him, calling him a double crosser for setting out to gather a recompense in the interest of his late father, and fingered him (Mohammed) as the driving force of the assault.

The prosecutor, who said police examination prompted Mohammed's capture and consequent arraignment, said other people who did the assault are still everywhere while examination is as yet progressing.

Direction to the denounced, Okechukwu Ayewu, in his reaction, encouraged the court to give his customer abandon ground that there was no connection of the offense with the charged.
