The convoy of the Lagos State governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode thankfully saved numerous motorists from being attacked by using a gang of armed robbers, who struck at lengthy Bridge on Lagos-Ibadan throughway. The incident which occurred last Thursday at approximately eight pm was said to had been accomplished by using armed robbers who have been dressed as cops.

however, luck ran out at the robbers when the convoy of Gov. Ambode, was getting back from Osun state in which Ambode had attended the President Buhari’s visit, found out that the police officers had been fake and have been in truth robbing people. The Governor's entourage engaged the robbers in a gun combat.
A supply at the governor’s office confirmed that they infact saved motorists from being robbed by the crooks.
