Police release trader who named pet dog 'Buhari', narrates his ordeal & why he chose the name

A 30-year-old dealer named Joe Fortemose Chinakwe, was captured and kept by the Ogun state police summon for naming his pet puppy 'Buhari'. This was after one of his neighbors, a man apparently from the North, documented a protest that Joe named his canine after his dad, Alhaji Buhari.

The Police has now discharged Joe Chinakwe, unequivocally. He was discharged around 5pm on Tuesday after the intercession of both the Serkin Hausa and President-General of non-indigenes in the state. Be that as it may, both the complainant and suspect were made to sign an endeavor not to bring on any break of peace.

Addressing Vanguard after his discharge, the second hand garments broker, a father of two from the Niger Delta, regretted that he was made to languish over no noble motivation. He said,

"It is irritating in light of the fact that the complainant is from Niger Republic and I am certain he is one of those displaced people in this nation. He schemed with one Police Sergeant from the Northern piece of Nigeria called Musa, who works at Sango Police division to mortify me. More awful still, the Divisional Police Officer there, did not improve the situation as he declined to enliven any supplication from me after I was captured that Saturday night. He basically requested his men to threaten me and toss me into the phone with solidified offenders for around three days. While I was there, the complainant from Niger Republic and Sergeant Musa from the North continued provoking me saying individuals from my part of the nation are inconvenience creators and that in the wake of confining me, they will toss me into jail where I will bite the dust unsung.

While taking me to Eleweran the following day, they bound and tied me together with that my companion. Luckily, when we got the chance to police central station, both the Commissioner of Police and different officers were furious with their partners at Sango-Ota. They were pondering noisily why I was conveyed to the central station over such a minor case. It's exceptionally appalling that I must be so embarrassed in my own particular nation due to the shenanigans of an outsider in conspiracy with my sibling from the North."

On why the pooch was named Buhari, Joe said,

"I didn't submit any offense. I named my darling pet puppy Buhari, who is my legend. My deference for Buhari began far back when he was a military Head of State. It proceeded till date that he is a non military personnel President. In the wake of perusing his tenacious battle against defilement, which resemble a blister worm eating into the very presence of this nation, I exclusively chose to rename my adored pooch which I called Buhari, after him. I didn't realize that I was conferring an offense for appreciating Buhari."
