
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) displayed sustenance and non-nourishment things to the military for Operation Safe Corridor Program intended to de-radicalize, restore and re-incorporate eight hundred (800) atoned and surrendered Boko Haram guerillas to quick track peace process in the North east.
Exhibiting the things in Gombe, the Director General of NEMA, Muhammad Sani Sidi said:
"The activity, which is in accordance with worldwide best practices permitted those occupied with the battling to willfully surrender and grasp peace so they experience restoration"
He said NEMA would assume its part in the system by giving general backing of nourishment and non-sustenance things for their up keep. Things to be discharged for this reason at regular intervals incorporate; 410 sacks of rice, 400 packs of beans, 200 sacks of millet, 200 packs of sorghum, 750 containers of spaghetti, 50 containers of Maggi shapes and 810 containers tomato glue. Others are 101 Vegetable oil in 20 liter barrels, 101 palm oil in 20 liter barrels, 50 sacks of salt, 100 packs of sugar, 420 containers of milk and 420 containers of milo chocolate.

The non sustenance things incorporate; 800 bits of bedding, 500 hundred bits of cover, 500 bits of nylon mats, 1000 plastic containers, 1000 plastic spoons, 1000 plastic glasses 1000, plastics plates, 1000 plastic sets of shoes, 2000 men's wear, 63 containers of shower cleanser and 1000 shower towels.
Getting the things, the Coordinator of Operation Safe Corridor, Brigadier-General BM Shafa said the activity was intended to de-radicalize, restore and re-incorporate willing and atoned Boko Haram guerillas who have turned out to surrender to the military and trusting that it would enliven the peace procedure in the North east.

"Between September a year ago and February this year a decent number of Boko haram have turned out to surrender" he included.
He expressed gratitude toward the Gombe State Government for giving the area and giving every one of them the essential backing. Around eleven (11) offices of Federal Government are specifically required in the Operation Safe Corridor program.
