Japan to sponsor 29 Nigerians for Masters degree

                                 

The Japanese International Cooperation Agency says it is supporting 29 Nigerians to Japan for their Master's degree under the Japanese Government Official Development Assistance.
An announcement issued on Monday in Abuja by Ms Salamatu Baba, Public Relations authority of JICA Nigeria, said the recipients would likewise experience entry level position toward the fruition of their project.

"This Initiative offers open doors for youthful and qualified African adolescents to learn at Master's courses in Japanese colleges as worldwide understudies furthermore encounter entry level positions at Japanese endeavors.

"This is so as to create compelling abilities and information in different fields, with the point of adding to the improvement of businesses in Africa.

"This is in satisfaction of a guarantee made by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe amid the Fifth Tokyo International Conference on African Development.

Baba said JICA got 1,946 applications from 50 African nations for the grant for the Japanese financial year affirmation 2016.
