Mrs. Buhari, spoke to by Hajiya Nana Shettima, the spouse of the Borno senator introduced the money to the guardians at a function in Maiduguri. She clarified that the signal was gone for helping the guardians with some budgetary backing towards lightening their sufferings. She said that the presentation was in satisfaction of her guarantee to help the less special and casualties of rebellion in the North East.
"Today's presentation was in satisfaction of the guarantee I made before in the year. amid my book dispatch in Abuja. I made a guarantee that the returns will be use to better the lives of ladies and casualties of rebellion in the North East," she said.
She asked the recipients to put the cash in beneficial endeavors, so it can better their living conditions.
"This cash is not a kind of pay, but rather a sort of backing for those in need. Our quick petition is for God to follow and safeguard the stole young ladies so they can be securely re-joined with their families,"
While recognizing the military for their endeavors in battling the Boko Haram terrorists, Mrs Buhari communicated idealism that the quest for the snatched young ladies would soon yield profits. Each of the 215 guardian got a money of N139,000 amid the occasion.
