An Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo on Tuesday struck out an application for the stay of execution of the June 3 judgment which permitted Muslim understudies opportunity to wear hijab endorsed by the state government to government funded schools.
The State Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) had on June 22 documented an application at the State high court requesting a stay of execution of the judgment.
In any case, at the court sitting on Tuesday Justice Jide Falola struck out the case in a brief decision in view of the way that the state Christian people group has drawn nearer the Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, Ondo State, money to sit on the matter.
Many disciples of the two religions and their attorneys trooped to the court premises at Oke-Fia zone of the state for the continued becoming aware of the stay of execution application recorded by CAN yet met a void court.
