
The senate President Bukola Saraki described the allegation of forgery of the Senate standing order charged against him and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu by the federal government as another abuse to the judiciary process of the institution of justice.
In a statement released by his special adviser on media and publicity, Yusuf Olaniyonu yesterday the 22 June 2016, the Senate President said that some people have been trying to involved him with their vows to make sure that they nail him with the code of conduct tribunal (CCT) have failed, they would find other way out.

"the police in their investigation were careful that the incumbent senate president was not in office prior to 9th June 2015, and that was the cause of sending invitation letters inviting some individuals for their investigation they only mentioned officers of the seventh senate.
the last letters written to clark of the national assembly on June 7, 2016 and he was not among those invited.
and for those who decided to chip in thename of the senate president into the charge sheet after knowing perfectly well that only the leadership of the seventh senate were invited for investigation. But they needed to involve him.
