At lest six people have been reported killed yester June 23rd 2016 by herdsmen who attacked Tse Gbangu village in Logo local Government Area of Benue State . according to report said that the herdsmen believed to be from Nassarawa State ambushed the victims slaughter them and burn their vehicles.
Some residents in the village community were the attack took place said that they have informed the police the quick notice to notify them about the hundreds of herdsmen from Nassarawa State who had cross the River Benue at Kaduna Ugbu near Tunga village into Benue State, preparing for attack but rather the police refused to pay attention to the information given to them.
these attack happen just a week after some herdsmen had earlier invaded three communities in the state, killing over 60 people.
